This lovely, one-of-a-kind segmented vessel inspired by Southwestern pottery comprises 20 layers of 36 pieces pieces of purpleheart and maple atop an Oregon black walnut base for a grand total of 721 pieces that were each individually cut and sanded. .

Finished with lacquer. None of the wood was stained -- those purples are the natural colors of the wood!

Measuring approximately 6 inches tall and 8 inches wide at its widest point, it's perfect for a wall niche, a china hutch or anywhere else it will be frequently seen for maximum enjoyment.
