This stunning segmented vessel comprises 20 layers of 36 pieces of bloodwood, purpleheart, Oregon black walnut and maple assembled in a spiral pattern atop an Oregon black walnut base for a grand total of 721 pieces that were each individually cut and sanded. .

Finished with lacquer. None of the wood was stained -- those purples and reds are the natural colors of the wood!

Measuring approximately 6 inches tall and 8 inches wide at its widest point, it's perfect for a wall niche, a china hutch or anywhere else it will be frequently seen for maximum enjoyment.
